Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) & Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

We have a wealth of knowledge and experience within our core team of working with children and young people with ALN. 

• Mo is a recently retired nurture provision teacher of 25 years. Having started her career working on a 1:1 basis within classrooms supporting children with additional learning needs including ASD, ADHD, social, emotional & behavioural difficulties, she then established the schools nurture class; a relaxed, small group setting with the flexibility to adapt learning to suit different needs and styles. 
• Holly worked running surf therapy projects for children with additional needs including learning & physical disabilities, and emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. 
• Sophie currently works as a primary teaching assistant within a specialist ASD provision. 

We also ensure our wider team have a good level of understanding of ALN through training and experience. 

This level of knowledge allows us to create spaces and use approaches that fully take into account specific needs. We are able to consult with you to plan our offer to ensure your childs wishes, feelings and needs are fully cared for.
